Puppy Dog Plaids started with a long time search for plaid dog collars for my two Westies, Wilson & Spudzie. It became frustrating not finding the quality or selection I was looking for, so....I decided to bring my old sewing machine out of the attic. It hadn't been used since my children Eric, Emilee and Brock were young and I had to read the manual just to thread the thing!

My first few first collars left a lot to the imagination but a few collars later, gifts to neighbors and friends and encouragement from my wonderful family were all I needed to rekindle my passion of designing combined with my love for dogs and Puppy Dog Plaids began.  My son Eric encouraged me to sell a collar on eBay in 2003 and the rest is history in the making.

After 25 years of combined marketing and sales experience and a nice weekly paycheck I might add, I changed my life, took a risk , and started my own company.  It turns out to have been no risk at all, with my deep spiritual commitment and the lessons I've learned in my marketing career Puppy Dog Plaids and my wonderful customers have been a true blessing in my life. 

The most important thing to me is to treat every customer with kindness, respect, compassion and an understanding of their deep love for their precious pets. Our core business practice is built on integrity and respect to our customers and their furry friends. We strive to make your buying experience special and to always appreciate our customers as we do our family and friends. We now design an entire line of Puppy Dog Plaids items that are not only sold in the U.S but all over the world.  We've made so many wonderful friends because all because of our passion and mutual love and adoration for our animals. I honor my Westies, Spudzie and Wilson as the  co-founders of Puppy Dog Plaids, not only because of their loyalty and love for my family but because of them and our deep affection for them, Puppy Dog Plaids would never have been created.
